Durbin Library - Kid's Page

This page is for kids and for folks who like kids. Right now this page is just in the process of construction. Lots of work needs to be done. This is what we hope to have:

First, this place will be a resource page, like for web sites that are kid friendly and kid safe. Activity pages. Downloadable and online games that are loads of fun yet build and reinforce good character. And student resources, places to find information for study and just the joy of learning.

Second, this site is to display kid's art and writing. Do you know a child who would like to place a drawing or painting online? If it can be scanned, we can upload it onto this site. Same thing with a poem or writing. Same with photos. In doing this, we will make efforts to protect the child by not giving out phone numbers or address.

So, let us hear from you. Just contact your local branch librarian on how you can contribute to the KIDS' PAGE.

We would also love for a responsible "kid lovin'" volunteer to help out with this web page. Anyone there? Contact Charlene if you would like to help out.
