Two Green Bank Book Clubs

Two book clubs are now meeting in the Green Bank area, a new one focusing on fiction just now started.
(meets the third Wednesday of every month)

The Green Bank Book Discussion Group has been meeting for over a decade. The group has approximately 25 members, and meets (usually) the third Wednesday of every month. The meetings are held on a rotational basis in members’ homes. The meetings open at 7:00 pm for a short social time, followed by an hour of discussion of the book chosen for that month. Following this discussion is further socialization time with refreshments.

Members obtain their own books. The Green Bank Library will have one copy of each selection in its collection, and can obtain further copies through Interlibrary Loan.

Books are selected annually at the September meeting. During the summer the group does not meet; however a longer selection for summer reading is chosen.

For further information, call Mark or Marilyn Clark at 456-3475.

The below chart names the name of a book and author for a given month. Listed at the far right is the first name of the person in charge of that month’s meeting.
