This extensive collection is a project of The Pocahontas County Free Libraries "To Know Ourselves" with funding provided by the West Virginia Library Commission, the Hollowell Foundation, Pocahontas County Historical Society, and private donors. In addition, events have been sponsored by the West Virginia Library Commission, Institute of Museum and Library Services, and the West Virginia Humanities Council.

The public is invited and encouraged to use these materials, most of which are available through normal library borrowing procedures including Interlibrary Loan. Please note that there is no fee for borrowing videos from this collection.
