Smoking & Drug Use Policy

The Pocahontas County Libraries, in order to provide a healthy environment for our staff and our patrons, is a smoke-free environment inside any building of the Library.

If staff or patrons wish to smoke, they have to stay outside all Library buildings and be no closer than twenty-five (25) feet from any entrance to any Library building.

The sale, use, possession, distribution, or presence in the body system (without medical authorization) of illegal or controlled substances is prohibited in the buildings and on the grounds of all Pocahontas County Libraries.
