About the Event
Join us at the Hillsboro Library on October 12th at 11 AM for a captivating presentation on our fascinating local history! We’re thrilled to showcase this exhibit, brought to us by The West Virginia Humanities Council The West Virginia Statehood will showcase an exhibit titled “Born of Rebellion.” This exciting new exhibit spans a century, highlighting the growing divide between eastern and western Virginia in the early 1800s, covering everything from the battlefields to the beautiful hills of West Virginia and beyond. Additionally, the Hillsboro Library Friends have arranged a Civil War History Talk at 1 PM, featuring featuring Hunter Lesser to present “Robert E. Lee’s Feuding Generals: Floyd vs. Lee”.
