About the Event
The story is written between a local Green Bank High School girl and a newly arrived girl from San Francisco (code names Kepler & Copernicus) in an ancient Astronomy book that was found in the library. They use post it notes to converse secretly and develop a friendship as they unravel a mystery involving the GBT and Copernicus’s Scientist mother. It’s a clash of cultures that develops into respect and friendship. Using Pocahontas Co. natives, Ms. Walker writes an engaging, fun novel for folks of all ages.
