Holiday Policy

The PCL recognizes 11 days in the calendar year when the library will be closed. These holidays are as follows:

1. New Year’s Day

2. President’s Day

3. Memorial Day

4. Juneteenth 

5. 4th of July

6. Labor Day

7. Veteran’s Day

8. Thanksgiving Day

9. Friday after Thanksgiving

10. Christmas Eve

11. Christmas Day

If any of the listed days or dates should fall on a Sunday, the succeeding Monday shall be regarded as the legal holiday.
